They met by chance at Pete's Candy Store (which is actually a bar, don't tell the moms). Ian was there for a friend's birthday (thank you Gabe!) and thought Ariane was a part of his friend's group, really she just thought he was cute and was trying to make a move. Luckily, he thought the same and the rest is history!
